Our gameplay seeks a fast and agile mobility.

Our goal is to create frenzied and reactive gameplay where players are in constant motion as they navigate the level.

Movement when aiming

Aiming will vary the speed of movement of the player. While aiming the player will be able to jump, double jump and “dashparear”.

Aiming ‣

Movement (Lateral)

When the player inputs a lateral movement input, the character will strafe.

This movement will be slightly slower than forward movement.

Movement (backwards)

When the player moves backward, the character won’t rotate and will simply moves in the imput’s direction.

This movement will be slightly slower than forward movement.

Sprint

Players will be able to sprint by executing an input, which increases their speed.

Characters have both a base speed and a sprint speed. Speed magnitude remains to be defined.

This mechanic is crucial for cooperative gameplay because it allows a struggling player to reach their partner's position without hindering the advanced player.

It also allows for more dynamic and interesting navigation of the level around the train.
