Players won’t collide. Instead they will have a force pulling them apart if their hitboxes overlap.
This subtle force will stop once the hitboxes stop overlaping.
This effect needs to be soft and not interfere with player mobility.
This function can be used by the players to push the other player.
Example: Overwatch
Revival won’t depend on the other player.
When a player dies, their corpse will remain on the ground for 3 seconds.
After that, it will fade away and disappear like enemies do
The dead player will have to play a short minigame to respawn on the train.
The respawn will occur in a door/hatch on the train.
Animation:
The camera will be locked.
The door will open explosively as the camera violently shakes a cuple of times in the direction of the door.
Smoke particles will burst out of the door to cover the spawn of the character (facing the camera)
The camera will then position normally behind the character and the player will have inmediate control.
Damage dealt to enemies will trigger animations that are visible to both players.
Friendly fire will be enabled (provisionally) to create fun situations when the two players confront each other.
